StayLedger ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
StayLedger collects only the data you choose to enter into the app, including income entries, expense entries, property names, receipt photos, and category labels. This data is stored locally on your device by default.
If you choose to sign in with Apple, we use your Apple ID solely to enable cloud backup and multi-device sync through Supabase. We receive only the information Apple provides during sign-in (such as a unique user identifier and, optionally, your email address).
Your financial data is used solely to provide the app's core functionality: tracking income, expenses, and profit for your rental properties. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, marketing, or any purpose other than delivering the service you requested.
StayLedger requests access to your photo library only when you choose to attach a receipt image to an income or expense entry. Photos are used solely for record-keeping and are stored either locally on your device or in your private cloud backup. Photos are never shared with third parties.
All data is stored locally on your device by default. If you enable cloud backup via Sign in with Apple, your data is securely stored using Supabase with row-level security, meaning only you can access your data. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
StayLedger uses the following third-party services:

RevenueCat — for subscription management. RevenueCat processes purchase transactions through Apple's in-app purchase system. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
Apple Sign In — for optional authentication. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Your data remains on your device and/or in your cloud backup as long as you use the app. You may delete your data at any time by removing entries within the app or by deleting your account. If you delete the app, locally stored data is permanently removed.
StayLedger is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
